About me

Meet Dr. Sam Koo, and you’ll immediately appreciate his warm, caring bedside manner that compliments his extensive expertise in all matters ranging from fingertip to shoulder. Even in today’s fast-paced world, he takes the time to develop relationships with his patients, to secure their trust and confidence prior to recommending treatment options. He will always discuss non-surgical and surgical options (if applicable), and explain the value and effectiveness of each approach.

Dr. Koo is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with postgraduate fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery from the nationally acclaimed Indiana Hand to Shoulder Institute in Indianapolis, IN. He aims to restore function, enabling patients to get back to what patients enjoy doing most - whether its a hobby or a career that relies on the intricacies of fluid movement. His goal is to improve quality of life whether the disruption stems from an acute injury or a chronic condition.

Dr. Koo is locally connected to the tri-state area through his wife, Dr. Euna Koo. She grew up in West Chester, OH, a Lakota High School alumnus, and practices dentistry in Kenwood. He and his wife are enjoying life with a toddler girl and another baby on the way.
